Does Bridges Logistics work directly on the ground?
Bridges Logistics’ local team in Gaza, made up of Palestinian staff working in extremely difficult circumstances, were among the first to respond to the crisis. They released our pre-positioned stocks of medicines, medical disposables, and other essential supplies from warehouses inside Gaza to meet urgent needs. As hospital demands continue to grow, we are sourcing additional supplies locally wherever possible. Where items are unavailable, Bridges Logistics is coordinating procurement from outside Gaza while working alongside UN and NGO partners to ensure urgent, safe, and unhindered access for humanitarian goods and personnel.
Do you support any political organisations?
Bridges Logistics is a non-political, non-religious, non-sectarian company.
How do you ensure that the funds don't get into the wrong hands?
At Bridges Logistics, we take safeguarding of funds and resources very seriously. Having worked for many years in challenging environments such as Gaza and across the region, we have developed strong systems to minimize risks in complex social, political, and legal contexts.
Before entering into formal partnerships, we carry out detailed due diligence assessments on individuals and organizations we work with. This includes reviewing governance structures, financial controls, staff capacity, procurement practices, and inventory management systems.
When Bridges Logistics transfers money, equipment, or humanitarian supplies, we track these through strict monitoring processes, supported by both internal and independent external audits. This ensures all resources reach their intended destinations and are used only for their designated humanitarian purposes.
We regularly review and strengthen our risk management procedures to remain fully compliant with international regulations, counter-terrorism requirements, and relevant donor and charity guidelines.
